Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy, born on November 25, 1968 is a Canadian actor from Canada. Most well-known for her roles in American television shows Law & Order (where she was Claire Kincaid, a prosecutor) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons). She was also acting in movies like RoboCop 3 or Most Wanted as well as independent films like Chutney Popcorn, which she co-directed. Hennessy was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy, her father was a meat-salesman, as well as an executive in marketing and sales. His job involved a lot of traveling, which meant numerous relocations for the family. Maxine Her mother, also known as Maxine passed away in the year 1982. Her daughter was left in the care of Eleanor, her paternal grandmother. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline Hennessy is her identical twin sister. Jacqueline is an editor for a magazine in Canada. Hennessy is of Irish, French and Swedish descent, with some Ukrainian Roma and Austrian ancestry. She attended Stanley Park Senior Public School and graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute, both in Kitchener, Ontario, and utilized to be a busker on the Toronto subway. Hennessy and her sister were first actors when they appeared as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. According to Gillian Anderson (the actress who was cast in the role) She was selected for the role of Dana Scully on The X-Files. In 1993, Hennessy was signed by Dick Wolf as Claire Kincaid as the assistant district attorney on the NBC crime drama Law & Order. She played the character for three seasons, leaving the show in 1996.
