Alyson Lee Hannigan

Alyson Lee Hannigan was born on 24 March 1974. American actor and host of a television show she is a citizen of the United States of America. Her credits include Willow Rosenberg (1997-1903) in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lily Aldrin (2006), for which she was awarded the People's Choice Award (2009) and Michelle Flaherty (99-2012). Hannigan hosts Penn Teller: Fool Us since 2016. Teller the Fool Us is a show that has been on the air since the year 2016. Hannigan is also the voice actor of Claire Clancy from Fancy Nancy (2018-2018). Hannigan was the daughter of Emilie (Posner) Haas and Alan Hannigan (a Teamsters worker). Hannigan was Hannigan's sole child. Hannigan's mom is Jewish and her father is Irish. At age four, Hannigan began appearing in commercials. When she was 11 she relocated to Hollywood with her mother. Her father was an agent for casting in Santa Barbara while she was there. She auditioned. After high school, she attended California State University Northridge. She was part of of the Alpha Chi Omega fraternity in Northridge and received a psychology degree. Hannigan made her first film appearance in 1988's My Stepmother Is an Alien. Seth Green was also one of her co-stars, and was later her partner in Buffy. In 1989, she was offered her first TV show role when she was cast as an actress on the ABC sitcom Free Spirit. Hannigan was just 14 years older when she was hired as a babysitter to Bob Saget's children. Saget was Hannigan's How I Met Your Mother costar. Hannigan was then chosen to be the character Willow Rosenberg (Buffy Summers' best friend) in the tv show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The actress was given public's attention in 1997. She also cared for Bob Saget's kids in How I Met Your Mom. Angel made her play her role as the character of Willow in two episodes.
