 Abbie Cornish is an Australian actress from Australia. She started modeling at the age of 13 and performed her first act when she was 15 years old. Following her modeling career, she was able to be seen in a variety of films and TV programs. Cornish is most well-known for her roles as the courtier Bess Throckmorton in the historical film 'Elizabeth: The Golden Age'. She also played the titular heroin addict in 'Candy,' Lindy in the sci-fi thriller 'Limitless' and Fanny Brawne in the biopic "Bright Star". She is also well-known for her roles in television's 'Outriders’ as well as 'Marking time. Cornish is a performer and rapper who has performed since the year 2000 under the stage name MC Dusk. She was born in New South Wales, and was raised by her three siblings and one brother. Her parents divorced shortly after she was 16. Abbie was able overcome the pain of divorce by focusing on her career. The Australian beauty loves playing the piano and guitar, but she prefers acting to everything else. Cornish who is a vegan strict, is a staunch supporter of animal rights. She also contributes to organizations that protect animals periodically. Abbie Cornish was born in Lochinvar (New South Wales), Australia on 7 August 1982. She is the fifth of five children to Barry Cornish. She is the elder sister of Isabelle Corish who is also an actress. Regarding the actress' love life she was once engaged to actor Ryan Phillippe who she dated from 2006 to the year 2010.
